Chess Blog Carnival

The other night I came across “Confessions of a Chess Novice”, which is written by BlueDevilKnight, a former knight errant if I’m not mistaken. He had the fantastic idea of a “Chess Improvement Blog Carnival.” A blog carnival is a type of blog event, similar to a magazine in that it is dedicated to a particular topic, in our case chess improvement, and published on a regular schedule. Each edition of a blog carnival is in the form of a blog article that contains links to other blog articles on the particular topic. The first one will be in January, and you can submit your favorite blog articles here.

After emailing Blue Devil Knight we have arranged to host the second edition of the traveling blog carnival here at Brooklyn64 on Feb. 3rd. We’re looking forward to it, and hoping to bring together different corners of the chess blog world. I’m hoping to discover some new blogs and chess resources out there that I might not have otherwise stumbled across, and of course I’m looking forward to the awesome articles as well.
