As those who know me know, I haven’t had much time for chess lately. However, this Thursday at the Marshall Chess Club I sat in on a tournament, playing a filler game against esteemed board member and New York City chess fixture, Ed Frumkin.

I was not expecting to win… I was hoping merely to draw.
